Hidden gems in Sienna

We had the most wonderful tour with Morad. He took us to a few spots off the beaten path that were spectacular. Including an ancient Etruscan cave. The food and wine we sampled were also great and he was very informative.

I can't remember our tour guide's name (sorry, too many tours in a 3 week trip to remember), but he was great. He not only provided plenty of interesting information, but also was very kind and flexible. He and the tour company were great about helping up us meet up with the tour after our train was delayed, which made us late. In addition to the information on the walking tour, the food we had was fabulous, too!

Morad, our guide, was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The tour was the highlight our our visit to Siena and made us want to do one in every city. There was quite a bit of walking, but it was worth it to get the city layout and highlights. The food stops were excellent. We tried three flavors at the best gelato store we found in a week in Siena. And the food at Dragoncello was spectacular, as are the people who own the store. We visited Dragoncello four more times during our visit. This was a great tour.

Great Intro to Siena

We are so happy to have done this tour upon arrival to Sienna. It gave us a lay of the city and the major sites so we were able to really maximize the next few days we had in Siena. Morad did a great job at giving us some background into the city’s history and provided good tips on where to eat, what sites are best to visit when, and lastly the food tasting was at the cutest shop managed by a sweet couple who just wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. You could see and taste the passion they have in what they do.
