Must do if you are a sea lover.

This is a must do, to appreciate the coastline and infrastructure of the coastal towns ie: Almalfi and Positano. If given the opportunity get in that water and test your boyency. Magical. Captain Giuseppe and his first mate Bruno were amazing tour guides. Grazi!!!

Boat not as advertised. Disappointing.

Fantastic crew, really lovely. Pick up service was amazing. However the boat was terrible, really disappointing and not appropriate for a premium tour at this price point. Only food was a sandwich, and the boat used was Definitely not the boat used in the photos in this site, so felt quite misled. The boat was a old fishing boat which they had attempted to convert. Engine was incredibly noisy, so could not really even talk to each other without yelling, and there was almost zero space up front to get the best view and was no space to lie down/stretch out. Back area was hastily converted with a shade cloth (which leaked water all over the guests as soon as we got up moderate speed) and there a were a few removable seats on deck. Have taken many boat tours in my time and this was by far the worst value for money.

Excellent choice of tour with Viator. Small number of people in the boat and our Captain was the best. Giuseppe made our trip enjoyable and with enough pace to visit Amalfi and Positano with a stop to swim snd relax. Highly recommended

What a great time. Its a little cold in May, and we had overcast weather, so swimming was a no go for most of the day. Which is slightly a shame because its part of the tour that does look awesome, but it was just too cold. Amalfi and Positano were nice, and though it seems like a small amount of time, its plenty to walk the small towns and shop for a bit. Raphael and Ronaldo were awesome, the beer was flowing, and the boat was plenty big. We had a great group, and we really enjoyed our time. Once the sun came out, some of us even braved a swim, which was actually quite nice if you are from the Northern Atlantic or UK, the water was 17 C, or 65ish F. Sometimes over the boat engine it was hard to hear the guide, so using the speakers might be helpful. Lunch was actually a nice surprise. The sandwiches appeared to be from a small shop, the bread was amazing, and as someone that does not usually eat Carprese sandwiches, it was quite good. Finally, the tobacco shop is not exactly labelled Tabachi like most of the tobacco shops, just go to the restaurant Ruccio, as thats where all of them stand and I would recommend they update the info to that, because that is how we found them

Overall really great experience! The company was great and booked us on a different date as the first had bad weather. The only two complaints were that the boat was somewhat small & the driver spoke very little English so we didn’t really know what we were looking at. It was a great way to get to the different cities though!

Our Positano/Almafi tour...

Our Positano/Almafi tour got canceled so we went Capri. We were all (8 of us) pretty disappointed however Capt. Johnny and Hugo were incredible. Very informative and incredibly friendly. Capri was good however the Boat Ride with Johnny and Hogo was Fantastic. I recommend the tour but Really Recommend the CREW

The first sign it's going to be a good day is they asked us to move the tour because the sea conditions. The day was Amazing! Had a wonderful day, the boat was nicer than we expected and the crew was super nice! It was all just perfect. Highly recommend! We were 9 people, everyone we're young and the vibe was great.

We really enjoyed our Amalfi boat tour with this company. They put us on a boat without a English speaking skipper, but after speaking to them they gave a partial refund which was very nice and generous. We really enjoyed the day, everything was smooth and ran on time. My partner got seasick on the boat and the skipper and driver were so helpful and caring. I highly recommend exploring Amalfi by boat and really enjoyed this excursion!

A must-do to discover the area

Very good experience to discover the Amalfitan Coast. It's worth it. The size of the group (10p) was good and the planning is well organized (2 swimming times, 1h in Positano and Amalfi). It could be better to have one or two stops less along the coast, as we have just the time to look around in the cities (but Amalfi and Positano are a bit overrated so it's enough). Good staff and service.

An unforgettable experience on the Amalfi coast. The boat was really nice, the two skippers were excellent, everything was fine. There were two stop for swimming in really special places, pass through the Sirenuse, one stop in Positano and one to Amalfi. To be honest, I would like more time to Amalfi, probably two hours or more, but it doesn't mind. I suggest this trip to everyone who is really interested in seeing Amalfi coast from the sea, to avoid buses, to relax an board, to feel the summer breeze... Thank you very much!

This was the best Excursion on our three-week trip to Europe. Luca was amazing. We got to swim twice in the Mediterranean Ocean. He provided noodles and snorkel equipment, wonderful ho,emade sandwiches, free beverages, and lemocello made by his mother. We had an hour stop in Amalfi and Positano. He let us store our luggage in his office (we were in a real time crunch!)

I planned my whole trip to Italy from the States. I read through reviews and car vs boat excursions along the Almafi coast, and settled on this option. From my research, the Almafi roads are small, and often get congested. I did not want to deal with this on my Honeymoon celebration. The boat owners and host were amazing! I felt safe, welcomed, and appreciated for choosing them. Along the journey the young man shared information about different sites on the coastline, and was so gracious to take us to 2 swimming areas. It was nice they supplied capers sandwiches and unlimited beer and water. I would recommend this for couples, singles, and families.

On booking we chose the premium option on the Itama 38 boat. What we got was a smaller boat, which felt cramped even with only 10 people (should've been 12) + skipper and crew member. The pickup was 25mins late going and no transport was waiting when we returned. Should've set sail at 9.30am. But didn't leave until 10.10am. Tour representative said boat was late due to waiting for permits, then when asked why we were on a smaller boat than booked was told, Itama 38 was for private hire only, when I said it was the boat on the website that we chose, she then said there was a problem with the engine and we were fobbed off with "but it's the same trip". It was the same trip, just on a smaller boat. She didn't grasp that the company are providing something different to what they advertise. The crew said it's a daily occurrence and when we arrived back the tour rep admitted it happens all the time. The trip itself was excellent and thee crew were friendly and helpful. We had enough time in Positano and Amalfi, lunch was great and there was plenty of opportunity for swimming in the sea. The waterfall stop was a highlight. 5* for the crew / 1* for Sorrento Sea Tours as they couldn't care less.

Worst experience! Never use sorrento sea tours

First off the boat was late to begin with. Once boarded the driver started drinking and did not stop the entire day and could not drive the boat. First stop was in positano where we were told to come back in 1 and half hours. The boat did not come back until 2.5 hours and we where all waiting on the peer in the heat. I called sorrento sea tours and they did not care that the boat was late and did not follow it up. The driver was not apologetic at all and was drunk. No lunch provided, no snacks, no snorkeling equipment. The beers were all gone since the driver drank them all. Got to amalfi and since we waited so long we had less time. But once again they were late and were not apologetic. The driver nearly flipped the boat on the way back as he was going way to fast and looked to be stoned. It was a traumatic experience especially for the small children on board. Once at the Port I spoke to the supervisor and she proceeded to blame me for not having lunch but soon shut up when the other family told her the driver was drunk and put the kids in danger. She was extremely rude to us and none of the staff were apologetic at all. Truly a disgusting service and highly recommend Noone use this company. I will be reporting the driver to the police

Amalfi boat tour

Tour is not totally what they make it out to be. Issues with the hotel pick up that set us back 45mins. Crew is one person, the boat driver that was hard to understand and quite abrupt at times. No fruit salad or limoncello offered. Only stayed in Amalfi for 45 mins and Positano for 1 hr. Didn’t visit emerald or fisherman’s grottos.
