What To Expect

Start your day's journey with pickup from your hotel in Sorrento, and are transferred to the port to board your boat.

As the boat pulls away from shore, get to know the 12 other passengers on your boat. Your small group size ensures personalized attention and an intimate atmosphere.

Admire views of the Li Galli islands, well-known for their many tiny grottos and emerald-colored seawater. When you reach Amalfi, go ashore to explore at your own pace. Walk down the small streets or perhaps visit St. Andrew's Cathedral. Climb back on board the boat for a light lunch of a mozzarella and tomato sandwich, accompanied by a soft drink.

Continue your cruise, passing seaside the towns of seaside towns such as Arienzo, Recommone, Crapolla, Fornillo, and Laurito. Go ashore in Positano, and spend some time exploring the quaint village, crisscrossed by narrow streets.

At the end of your coastal voyage, return to your Sorrento hotel for drop-off.

Adequate time in Amalfi and Positano to wander, grab a coffee and some food even though the villages were very crowded.

You stop twice to swim which was really fun as the water was warm and you can dive in off the side of the boat.

This tour was SO. MUCH. FUN. Everything was so thoughtfully considered: The personal pick up, the boat itself (clean! spacious!), the itinerary (we saw so much), the drinks & sandwich, the swim spot, our kind hosts... just wonderful. It's the perfect day trip if you are staying in Sorrento. Highly highly recommend!

If you're looking for an interactive experience with your guide and lots of information about the area then this trip is not for you. I'm giving this experience 5 stars as the organization was excellent and we were able to get picked up and dropped off at our hotel outside of Sorrento, and on time. We were taken to each location listed on the itinerary, although perhaps not in the order listed, and had time in both Amalfi and Positano to look around. Positano was our favorite and we are already talking about staying there on another trip. The boat experience was good, and we could choose between sitting up front or in the back. There is a reason you're told to bring a towel even if you don't swim! All-in-all we enjoyed the trip and we saw and stopped in the places expected.

Claudio was great, informative and humorous. He pointed out all of the highlight of the amalfi coast and even arranged a boat ride for us. The only negative thing I could say, and it has nothing to do with him, but the restaurant he took us to, the server seemed annoyed and the food wasn't great. Other than that, I highly recommend this tour!

This was a beautiful boat ride! The boat was beautiful and well maintained. We spent 1.5 hours in amalfi and 1.5 hours in Positano. It was a little too short of time but we also had some time to swim off the boat which the kids enjoyed. The crew was friendly and the sandwiches were delicious. The views were beautiful! We would do it again!

We were picked up from our hotel and brought to the meeting point where we were met by our guide Hugo. We had a swim stop in the beginning. Water was warm and beautiful. Hugo provided beers and water to us. We then stopped at amalfi and had some free time. There were shops and restaurants. We were then provided with our caprese sandwich. Got back on the boat and then went to positano where we again had some free time. We later had a second swimming stop. Floats were provided both times. There is a shower to rinse the salt off before getting back on the boat. Our tour guide Hugo was very attentive. Overall great tour. Views were amazing.

AMAZING! After spending 16 days in Italy all the way from Napoli to Venice, we can confirm this was a top top highlight of the trip. Cannot recommend enough. You visit Amalfi and Positano with plenty of time to see the towns/beaches. You are given about a half hour to swim outside of Positano where the views are magical. My girlfriend usually does not like boats as she gets sea sick but with the help of some anti nausea meds found at a local pharmacy she was perfectly fine and loved every second of it. Our boat went fast which enabled us to spend plenty of time at our real locations and less time traveling but the views are still INSANE.

A visit to Amalfi, Positano..... boating along the coast and swimming in the beautiful Mediterranean- it just doesn't get any better than that! Our boat captain was wonderful and quite an expert at maneuvering in the crowded areas in each off these ports! I would highly recommend this small group tour. It was a relaxing day taking advantage of all of the beauty of southern Italy!

The boat trip was fabulous and really enjoyable. However we were only offered 1 bottle of water but no fruit salad or soft drink/beer. Also when we were to pass by Fiordo di Fiore it wasn't very well explained and looking at pictures of the place on line I thought we would go under the bridge and see the fiorde. Other than it was a great day out.

Had an incredible trip along the Amalfi coast! The boat was gorgeous, enough seating areas if you want sun/shade as you travel. The guide was so so lovely, explained lots to us on the way and very accommodating. Told us best places to go when we arrived in the towns and we felt really looked after. The actual trip was just amazing, beautiful scenery and loved going by boat as you get to see all along the coast (and avoid the hairpin roads!). We were given a fresh sandwich which was tasty and some drinks too. They stopped to let us go swimming after visiting the towns which was much needed as it was very hot. Lovely spot to go swimming in and gave us life jackets/ noodles if wanted. The pick up/drop off at hotel was very organised and on time. Overall i'd absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the Amalfi coast!

Tour did not deliver

This tour promises more than it delivers. We had one hour in each town and only one scheduled swimming stop. One hour is not enough time to explore the towns. It was also frustrating to come back after the hour and then have the boat show up 15 minutes late. Lunch was a mozzerella/tomato sandwhich. There was no persecco. The tour guide was super friendly and even did a break dance performance at the end but that was the only highlight.

Dear alison_b it's never nice to get a two star review especially on a tour that it is the highjlight of our customers' holdidays. The boat company usually provides 1h30 in Positano and1h30 in Amalfi, but in high season when the area is so busy can happen to spend less time on land. If the boat left 15 minutes later the delay was due to the inspection of the coast guard.Safety first. As concerns the lunch, it is well described that the boat company offers a sandwich with mozzarella and tomatoes and prosecco is never mentioned in the description or in the section "inclusions" of the Amalfi coast tour, as drinks, it's indicated water and 1 soft drink or beer.
