Just okay

A pleasant day, but probably not worth the money, certainly not premium. The morning is chaotic. The office window is tucked next to a cafe and tons of bustling people and boat captains trying to get the tours checked in and started. They have many different captains arguing over who takes who. Our boat was nice, held 7-8 passengers, although we rode up on top in front in the sun while some older passengers took the seats and shade in the back. It was a beautiful scenic trip on the way out- maybe an hour? Since we were in front we were just relayed information a few times by the mate so really had no idea what we were looking at although pretty. There is no way you will see the Blue Grotto due to crowds by the time you get there if you go in warmer months. They didn't even offer it up as it would have taken hours so we just drove by. It was frustrating being so far away from the shore- other smaller boats were going in and out of the rocks and really getting up close while we looked on from afar. The Green Grotto water is gorgeous and the white grotto and arch is very pretty, but you don't swim there -just wait your turn to back into , them take some photos then move on. You will wait your turn at the Marina to be scuttled to shore via a rubber dinghy. Pretty smooth, but time consuming. Upon drop off we were handed a sandwich wrapped in foil and told about things to go do and when to be back for shuttling. They warned us not to go to Anacapri but we wanted to go up to Monte Solare. The line was so long that we couldn't and still make our rendevous so we ended up going back down to the beautiful beach where we landed. There wasn't much time for anything else by the time you get a cab or bus up the hill so I would recommend going to Capri center and wandering there and the beach. We were offered water or beer one time coming and going, no limencello. We stopped to swim on our way back home for a few minutes, no snorkeling offered. A storm was coming in so they said we had to get back. We were back almost an hour and a half early.

The start of the tour was a little disorganized and we waited for people and the boat for an hour. But our tour guide on the boat was so lovely and made the trip very worth it. Capri from a boat is even more beautiful than the island itself.

What an amazing experience! Our host, Luca, was lively, informative and a great entertainer. He made the day very lively and was able to answer a lot of our questions. The boat was clean, good bathroom and the service was top notch. We had champagne, beer, soda, etc. The sandwiches that came with package was delicious! We had 11 people total on our boat and it didn't feel too cramped. The stops were wonderful - would 100% recommend!

Amazing boat tour of Capri

This really was an amazing tour and an amazing day that I am so glad I went on! It started off by exploring the peninsula with Sorrento and some ruins on the way to Capri, where our expert captain guided the boat into some grottos with expert precision so that we were able to admire the water and the cave formations. We also were able to go swimming twice, and there was limitless beer available on the boat. The water was perfect and even though it was October it was not very cold. We got free time to explore the island from the Marina Picolla, which was much more calm than Marina Grande, and only 4 euro to go from one side to the other via the bus and funicular. Overall a great day!

The most memorable tour

We had such a great time on our boat tour to Capri. From great communication, the bus ride to the boat (air conditioned Mercedes crew van) and the entire tour itself. We did other boat tours and they were good but this one stood out for sure! Our guides Giovanni and Josè were absolutely incredible. Made us laugh, took pictures and we so informative during the entire tour. Communication was great. I received a WhatsApp message from sorrento tours the night before letting me know that the pick up time had changed due to sea conditions. Everything was smooth and went as outlined in the message the next day. Our driver that took us to the drop off location so was friendly and personable and played music that we all really enjoyed. We had the most memorable experience from the moment we left our hotel. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

Spent €40 extra to go back to Sorrento in Ferry as they did not wait for me, I advised the captain I was lost and waiting for the bus, I was going to take a taxi, and he said “dont worry, we won’t leave without you” and 3 min after I have offered to go in Taxi to the meeting point, he called saying they already left. I understand this is a group experience, however, the capitan didn’t need to say that he will wait for us, and that he will not leave without us. I will recommend you get another tour company if you’re gonna spend this amount of money and they dont even care about you.

My friend and I had an excellent time on this boat tour! Mary and Johnny took very good care of us and were super knowledgeable about Capri. They arranged for travel for us while on Capri and had everything available while on the boat. Shuttles to and from our hotel made it a particularly carefree day since all travel was arranged by them. They had towels for after the chilly swim, and provided a beer and fruit cups when we got back on the boat. I was hopeful for a mask and snorkel during the swim, but we didn’t have those available. Other than that the tour was excellent! Mary had a wonderful sense of humor and instantly made it seem like we had been long time friends. Would definitely go out with them again and recommend to all looking for a semi-private boat tour with great a company!

Amazing tour but started off rocky

This was one of the highlights of our trip. It is absolutely a must. Such mind blowing besuty and very nice people. The boat is also goregous and like brand new. Minus one starbecause this company sent us not only the wrong pick up time (half hour later than what they sent the rest of our group), they also sent us to the wrong dock. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and almost caused us to miss the tour. Then they had the nerve to charge us a boat departure fee? Weird.

The boat ride was a great scenic tour... a little rough on the way out but smooth sailing on the way back. Luigi had some interesting info during the ride and showed us all the places we were to see. He was pretty funny too and made the trip very enjoyable. And at first I thought, what is this sandwich? But it's the best sandwich i've ever had! Pretty sweet to be with a small group (10 of us) on the boat and get to bond a little with the other participants. Capri is way warmer than Sorrento where we started from... wish we brought our swimsuits! But still got to lay on the beach

Not a recommended tour with this company

I would not recommend this tour company for the following reasons; 1. The boat is a fishing boat, not a sightseeing boat not designed for tourists, (no rear platform, no shade canopy), 2. The ship mate was a summer young hire wuth no experience in customer relations or first aid. 3. We visited no grottos. 4. Swimming was limited to the bay of the port where birthed, although many other coves were better suited. It was not a pleasant trip.

Amazing and beautiful boat tour. Extremely friendly staff and captain. His English was excellent and he shared some amazing stories about Capri. Stopped at lovely places to swim and got a nice simple lunch. Would definitely recommend this tour and it is really worth your money.

OK - definitely not 'premium'

We booked this boat trip before we got to Italy. We received the confirmation email about being picked up at a particular hotel at a certain time. We waited at the meeting place for 30 minutes, and the time had clocked over to the time that the boat was supposedly leaving (9.30am). No one would answer the phone, using the numbers provided in the email. In case the boat would leave without us, we grabbed a cab and paid 15 euros to get down to the marina. Upon arriving, they told us to wait at the cafe next door. As time went by, my husband and I would ask the girl behind the company's counter if there was a boat for us, as groups of people has come and gone in this time. Each time, the girl became frustrated and was dismissive, but couldn't tell us if a boat or another group were arriving. One person who was waiting said that they had been there since earlier that morning waiting, and that a boat had left at 9.30. By 10.45, a group of people were dropped off by the van, all of whom were just as flustered. No one had any idea what was going on and there was a lot of shouting over the phone by the ladies behind the desk, as if something had gone wrong. Finally we were led on to a small boat (MUCH smaller than the picture). They said that because of the delay, they would stay out on the water a little longer. This didn't suit one family, as they were getting picked up by 5.30pm, as that was the time we were supposed to be back. That family were then not able to come back with the rest of the boat, and so only got half the day in. Although the skipper was nice enough, we didn't get offered food or drink along the way. We asked for beer as it was advertised, but he only had some warm cans. We got 2 hours on Capri and had to ask where to get our included sandwich at a local restaurant, which was met with confusion. We came back 30 minutes later than advertised, even though we left 90 minutes late. We didn't go to the Blue Grotto, which was later found out was because the seas were too high, but no explanation was ever given for the entire trip. It was a nice enough day in the end, when you look past those things, but this was planned for my birthday that day and was stressful to begin with as it seemed like they didnt even have a boat for us. It's definitely not the 'premium' trip that is advertised. I recommend you just get to wherever you are staying and have a look at all of the boat companies on offer, or just get the ferry!

Capri Not So Premium Boat Tour

Despite having been advised in several different emails to arrive at the ticket office by 9:30 AM the day of the boat tour, the Sorrento Sea Tours representative - after checking us in - asked us (two couples) to wait more than an hour for some other couple, whose train was apparently delayed. The Sorrento Sea Tours representative advised several times that the couple was coming down the street and would be arriving soon. Thankfully, the couple was apologetic - definitely more so than Sorrento Sea Tours. The Sorrento Sea Tours representative advised that due to the late departure, the boat tour would be extended, so we would have the full time touring around and on Capri. Since it was not, we rushed around the island, and could not go in the Blue Grotto. We even had to ask the Captain to stop so we could swim. Although the Viator website specifically states the following items were included, they were not! We even had to ask for water - also "included." Beverages : Soft drinks and beers Lunch : Caprese sandwich Use of SCUBA equipment Upon arrival at Marina Piccola, we had to wait an hour for a Zodiac - operating for a specific restaurant - to bring us from the boat to the marina. As a result, we had even less time on Capri. All in all it was pretty disorganized and we even had to ask our Captain what time to meet at the Marina so we could get back to the boat to continue our tour. With the delays, the abbreviated tour and the lack of "included" items, we should at least be offered a partial refund.

El paseo es muy lindo, el problema es que viator vende este tour como tour en español pero la empresa que lo realiza lo ofrece sólo en inglés e italiano. La tripulación, especialmente Salvatore, fue muy amable y se esforzaban para que entendieramos todas las explicaciones

Não cumpriram com o que disseram, não parou em nenhum ponto, somente passou devagar pelos pontos principais o que mal permitiu tirar foros, queriam ficar pouco tempo em Capri, tivemos que reclamar para aumentar o tempo. Todos a bordo tiveram a mesma queixa. Não faria novamente com essa companhia.

Capri è stupenda ma ci vogliono più ore per visitarla, perché in 3 ore si riescono a visitare solo le attrazioni principali. Da rifare, equipe soddisfacente

Pubblicità totalmente falsa. L'unico motivo per cui ho scelto questo tour al posto di altri meno costosi è perchè sembrava un bellissimo "all inclusive" che partiva da Sorrento, ci portava alle varie attrazioni di Capri, di cui LA PIÙ IMPORTANTE: la Grotta Azzurra, e poi ci lasciava anche tempo libero sull'isola. Bene. Qui sotto elencherò quello che abbiamo fatto: 1. Ci è stato chiesto di presentarci al meeting point MINIMO 15 minuti in anticipo. Siamo arrivati alle 9.05 e la partenza era prevista per le 9.30. Ebbene, siamo partiti alle 9.50, 20 minuti in ritardo. Tutti gli altri partecipanti, infatti, avevano iniziato a preoccuparsi, noi inclusi. 2. Il giro era per "max 12 persone" e dici ok, ci sta. Peccato che quando abbiamo visto la barca sulla quale abbiamo fatto il giro, siamo rimasti totalmente perplessi: una barchetta talmente piccola che eravamo tutti attaccati come sardine. Cosa che in situazioni normali forse ci stava anche, ma in tempi Covid saremmo dovuti essere max 6 su quella barchetta minuscola. Sicurezza ciaone. 3. Finalmente siamo partiti e ci siamo fermati a sta specie di "cascata" minuscola, che fosse stato come bonus era carina. Peccato che abbiamo sprecato un sacco di tempo prezioso lì che poi non ci è bastato successivamente. A saperlo, avremmo chiesto di muoverci e lasciar perdere quella roba. 4. Ora il bello: i faraglioni li abbiamo visti a malapena perchè: anando incontro, la barca bloccava la visuale ed essendo minuscola, non era possibile spostarsi di mezzo centimetro per fare una foto; passandogli, non era possibile fare mezza foto perchè il sole era ancora a Est. I faraglioni, infatti dovevano essere l'ultima cosa sul nostro itinerario, da vedere nel pomeriggio quando il sole è dal lato opposto, così da poterli ammirare, invece no. Sole in faccia, siamo passati in due secondi, e ciao. 5. Ci siamo fermati davanti alla grotta bianca senza però avvicinarci. Abbiamo fatto ciao con la manina mentre le altre barche ci andavano vicino per ammirare la bellezza della grotta: noi no. Noi da lontano soltanto. Così, passati in due secondi e poi ciaone. 6. Ci siamo fermati poi a nuotare vicino a Marina piccola e poi abbiamo avuto 4 ore di tempo per esplorare l'isola. Ed è lì che abbiamo capito che la Grotta Azzurra la vedevamo solo in cartolina. 7. 4 ore dopo siamo ripartiti da Marina Piccola e ci siamo finalmente fermati (un'eternità) alla Grotta Verde per farci una nuotata. 8. Ripartiti, siamo arrivati alla Grotta Azzura alle 17.07 - 7 minuti DOPO LA CHIUSURA DELLA GROTTA. Ma quale tour operator serio non conosce gli orari di apertura delle attrazioni principali?! Soprattutto, uno che pubblicizza un tour come quello che ti permetterà di vedere tutto?! Un conto è non vedere la grotta per via di condizioni meteo sfavorevoli, un altro è arrivare in ritardo, oltre l'orario di chiusura! Morale della favola, il giro è stato organizzato malissimo, l'itinerario qui sul sito è descritto malissimo (infatti non avevamo capito che giro avremmo fatto ma da bravi cretini ci siamo fidati dei tour operator perchè loro ben sapranno cosa fanno no?), siamo andati alle varie grotte SENZA orari di apertura PRIMA, per poi arrivare in RITARDO all'unica che aveva gli orari, quando invece avremmo potuto fare il giro dell'isola nella direzione opposta, vedere l'Azzurra nella prima metà della giornata, in orario, (quando, lo sanno tutti, è il periodo migliore per vedere i colori bellissimi), per poi andare con calma a tutte le altre grotte successivamente. Invece così ci siamo persi l'UNICA attrazione che tutti vogliono vedere a Capri e soprattutto l'unica attrazione per cui avevamo prenotato questo tour nello specifico, ed essendo quello l'ultimo giorno della nostra vacanza, non abbiamo neanche potuto rimediare successivamente. Ah, e poi essendo che il tour è "premium", 5 minuti prima di arrivare a Sorrento al ritorno, abbiamo ricevuto della frutta e qualcosa come 10ml di prosecco (una bottiglia divisa fra 12 persone). Avessimo voluto un semplice giro in barca, avremmo prenotato un tour diverso che ci costava anche meno. Unico complimento: i due ragazzi sulla barca erano carinissimi e gentilissimi. Nulla da dire di su loro.

Hele leuke dag op het water. Paar uurtjes op capri, verder lekker varen rondom capri op luxe bootje met voorop heerlijke lig kussens. 2 stops om te zwemmen. Drankjes Incl bier en wijn. En lekker broodje als lunch. Vriendelijke gids die leuk kan vertellen. Verzamelen is bij bar rucchio in de grote haven.
