What an amazing experience we had on this excursion. Our guides Nino and Ciro were very knowledgeable in every aspect. The views were breathtaking and we even got to stop at a shepard’s farmhouse. We got to taste homemade cheese, wine, honey, and fresh figs. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to hike the path of the gods.

Garden of the Gods route packed with hikers

The hike was enjoyable and scenery spectacular. Hiking shoes needed. The hike was not exactly as described on line. Group of 15 was promised we had 24. Guide was excellent - however route was not continuous as promised but out and back.

Didn’t start out great. The second van for pickup never showed up and after about 20-30 min one of the employees had to drive us in her personal vehicle. The group was very large, maybe 35 people and we were split in 2 groups. So we didn’t even get Nino as our guide. Our guide was fine but can’t remember his name. I’m going to be honest about the hike…It’s brutal. And if you are over 50 and not regularly working out, you are going to struggle. On top of that it was about 88 degrees that day. This hike should have started at 8am. What I didn’t know is that it’s 90 min of travel to get to trail head. They also didn’t make clear that if you want to eat anything at shepherds hut, it’s 10€. And you get a piece of bread, slice of cheese and about 12 small sliced tomatoes. The hike of course has breathtaking views but all of Amalfi coast has these views and you don’t have to kill yourself to see them. I cannot understand how popular this trail is bc it’s A LOT of work. Go at your own risk. You’ve been warned

The path of gods is a must do for anyone in Sorrento/Positano. Amazing views and lessons to be seen and heard during the trip. The path also has an alternative route to the main viewing point in case you are traveling with old people. Nino was a class knowledgeable fun loving passionate italian english-speaking guide, educating the group about the history of the spot as well as tasting the wild herbs used in everyday Italian cooking. He was a gastronome leading us like the pied piper!Finish the trip off with a meal at the local shepherds farmhouse. Bread, cheese, tomatoes and wine. Perfecto!

Was a very informative and joyful hike, a little more exhausting than I was expecting but in 35degrees one should have known. Unfortunately and fortunately the cloud cover was low and gave us some relief from the heat but also forged out the view which was disappointing but not our guides fault. Nimo was excellent.

Absolutely fabulous experience!! Everything from pick up to drop off in sorrento was excelente! The pick up was very prompt and our guide, Giovanni was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. He was ex aging, personable, knowledgeable and very pleasant and kind! The hike was not too difficult and the views were incredible!! Would totally recommend!!

The views are stunning! It was great to hear and see the history of the Italian people who toil the land in the hills without modern machinery. Seeing the shepherd hut and being treated to a lovely salad, bread, cheese, and homemade wine was a highlight. The information from our guide started even in the car ride to the starting place. Top notch adventure. A must-do if you like walking, hiking, and history. Wear good shoes.

Loved this hike so much. Everything about it was amazing - it was well organised, the guides were so friendly and provided interesting info on the walk. The stop off for lunch in the Shepard's hut was so lovely and a nice break. Beware your shoes will get very dirty from the dust so dont wear white trainers. I highly highly recommend this hike during a stay in Sorrento 10/10

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide Nino picked us up from Piazzo Tasso on time and drove us to Path of the Gods hike which is a beautiful place with lots of history. He also took us to meet Antonio who is a traditional working shepherd where he gave us some wonderful organic food to eat which he produced himself. It was so delicious. This is the second we have done this walk and would definitely do it again, it’s just stunning !

What a marvelous hike through the clouds off the beaten path from the hustle of Sorrento. Our guide, Antonino was so personable and shared his love of the mountains with us. This was a highlight of our trip to Sorrento. We started with the drive up the mountain with Giovanni, the most courteous driver in all of Italy. He gave a geologic lesson of the Sorrento coast with little details of the towns we drove thru on our way to hike. Nino was our hiking guide, who made us use all five sense as we accended to the mountain coastline. We heard bells on goats, tasted, touched, and smelled wild herbs and of course were mesmired by the amazing Amalfi coastline. You will also be treated to the warm hospitality of Antonio and his wife at there shepherd oasis. What a treat you are in store for. If you want to wander amonst the Gods, let Nino and his guides show you the way.

This was an amazing experience. We had an absolutely fantastic time with Antonio and Nino from the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped off. The hike was amazing - we were so grateful it started so early because by the afternoon it was very hot. Nino was hilarious and very informative throughout the hike. We stopped a lot along the way to leave about the local farmers and the path as well as getting a stop for lunch with the local Shepard. We could not recommend this enough, the views were amazing and the company even better!

Just so you know, this is approximately 4.25 miles round-trip. We called before we scheduled the tour. We specifically asked for a hike that went from Bomerano to Nocelle. It was confirmed that this was the route, but when we arrived at Bomerano we learned that it was a roundtrip hike beginning and ending in Bomerano. The views are spectacular and we are glad we did the hike. It was a bit more than moderate difficulty with a large amount of steps. Older people or anyone with mobility issues should not take this hike.
