We had so much fun making and eating our own pizza. Luigi was very funny! The only thing I could say, is that, I wish it had been a smaller group. It lost it's personal touch for me when it started to feel like a factory instead of something more intimate.

We all loved this, including our teenage children. The collection points are spread across Sorrento so we only had a short walk before being picked up and taken a short distance out on the edge of town. We'd never made pizza from scratch like and were talked through what type of ingredients to use to get the best results. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and patient with our attempts at making pizza. All our pizzas were delicious! We highly recommend this experience for couples, families or solo travellers.

Our family of 4 (sons 7 and 11) enjoyed our pizza making session with Luigi at his cooking school. Convenient pickup at our hotel, and it felt like we were welcomed into the restaurant kitchen. We learned so much to bring home for family cooking nights. And the pizza was amazingly delicious.

We didn’t actually get to do the course we paid for so although I’m not able to confirm if the event itself is any good, VIATOR and this particular operators information provided to tourists in an unfamiliar city is poor. I provided my hotel details for pickup for the event which was located bang in the middle of Sorrento and the tickets provided by Viator then also confirmed our hotel details for pickup. The tour operator sent a message to me the day before the event just saying “ Hello from AVI TRAVEL Sorrento! We kindly inform you that the pickup for your activity tomorrow will be from the HOTEL PLAZA at 1045am” with no further address details or to say that the hotel information we provided when booking wasn’t going to be the location we are to be collected for. We waited in the outside plaza of our hotel for pickup and nobody showed up. Long story short our collection was actually from another hotel called Hotel Plaza down the road and when I messaged the operator asking where they were getting to Marco said we now had to book and pay for our own taxi to get to the event which had already started at this point, he has since gone on to block my number so I have no choice but to try and resolve with Viator which is like pulling teeth as they side solidly with their operators in mainly auto generated emails. In summary my feedback is: Why bother making customers input their hotel details if it’s not shown on the pickup list if you are not going to pick them up from there in the first place, why also then put the hotel details the customer has provided on the event tickets if that is not going to be the pick-up location used, it’s confusing and misleading. Finally, if you are going to pick customers up from another location other than they have requested, first tell them in a message the pickup location will be from another point and provide the FULL address of where it will be, not just HOTEL PLAZA - we’re visiting a city to explore and are not fully familiar with it We got a small refund from Viator after hours of back and fourth emailing but the operator was no help or showed any understanding of the situation, just blocked me. I’m sure it was a great cooking course and I’d seen some good reviews, but we didn’t get to go due to misleading pickup information but have still paid for it.

What a great afternoon, would recommend it to everyone. Our teacher was such a lovely, funny and educational man, we learnt so much in the 3 hours we were there and eating your own creation afterwards was just the best! Even our 16yr old had a great time and wanted to create his own pizzas when we got home, now that's a result!

A great way to learn how to bake a pizza in the home of pizza!! The complimentary hotel pick up was on time and the staff extremely friendly. The chef was excellent and made time to chat to everyone. He was friendly, funny and very professional.
