Excellent winter tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast

Absolutely amazing excursion with Fabrizio at the end of August. He fetched us from the port and ensured we made great use of our time and got us back in good time. We had a wonderful time along the coast, and a very informative time at Pompeii. We had a family of three generations and Fabrizio made it interesting for all, but most especially paced it for the elderly ones! As my mother said "a hundred times better than she expected". What a fabulous tour, what more can I say? Fabrizio picked us up from the Naples train station and it was immediately clear that we were going to have a great tour. We were on a family vacation visiting London, Paris and Rome. In each city we had multiple private tours. Fabrizio was easily the best tour guide we had. His knowledge of Pompeii is extensive and he was very careful in planning the trip so that we could maximize our time both at Pompeii and the Coast. We have two kids, 12 and 14, who would ask questions continually and Fabrizio did a wonderful job keeping them engaged and entertained. A fabulous tour and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It truly was the highlight of Rome and quite possibly the whole trip. The high speed train from Rome to Naples was easy to book and very efficient. Take this tour!!!

Fabrizio was amazing! From the moment he picked us up we felt like family and he took great care to make sure we were happy at every moment. He made sure we met time limits and were still able to see everything we wanted to see. We had a wonderful time with Fabrizio! We booked less than a day ahead and he was very communicative/responsive immediately. Through out our time he checked in and made sure our expectations/hopes were being met. He made stops to suit us and made recommendations in each town. It was nice to have these experiences wrapped into a seamless day with a local who is passionate and professionally experienced. It was a day full of learning history, culture and archeology. We were lucky to have a beautiful winter day, could not have asked for a better experience.

Definitely one of my favourite tours and guides! This tour is incredible. Fabrizio is extremely friendly and professional and wonderful with children. The Amalfi Coast is stunning, so grateful that we picked this tour. We enjoyed an amazing lunch, following Fabrizio's recommendation, at a cliffside family run pizzeria - the best pizza we have ever eaten and the most amazing views! We spent the afternoon visiting Pompeii. I had wanted to go to Pompeii in the morning, but Fabrizio recommended waiting until afternoon as the breeze usually picks up and I am glad we followed this suggestion. It was incredibly hot, but as the afternoon went on, the breeze picked up just like he said it would. Pompeii is a must see, and Fabrizio made it very entertaining even for our young children. He had a number of educational games that made it easier or the kids to understand and we all learned a lot of Roman history in the process. I would highly recommend this tour!
