Best way to see the Amalfi coast

We had a great day with plenty of time to explore Amalfi and Positano. We appreciated have a couple stops to swim in the sea and cool off. It was nice having drinks available on board the boat and the sandwich and fruit salad were both excellent. This was the best way to see the Amalfi coast!

Can’t beat this tour. We visited all of the popular sites in the comfort of our own boat. They gave us plenty of time to roam on our own and stopped at several swimming spots. Highly recommend this crew.

A great day out on the water with Alfonzo. He was a great guide who made sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. We stopped twice for swimming and offered to take pictures for everyone. He went around pointing out the sites on the coast. Definitely recommend this tour

This was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a hot day, and it was so wonderful to sit on the front of the boat with the cool breeze, watching the beauty of the Italian hills pass by from the water. I so loved passing through the islands/rocks at La Galli, and swimming/snorkeling in the clear water there. Our captain/host were Salvatore and Giacomo. They were great! Salvatore was sweet and took care of us. I could not believe how great Giacomo was at navigating a narrow fjord and the crowded port at Positano!

Don't go by bus or car this is the way to go. Plenty of time. In both Almalfi and Postiano. We got to swim and shower in a waterfall.

I have given 4 stars as I believe that other people would love this tour. Unfortunately it wasn’t for me and my mum. I got horrendous sea sickness - however our captain was amazing and helped as best as he could with the situation. This is NOT a leisurely bob along the coast line - more like a scene from a James Bond film banging off the waves. Amalfi was lovely and I wish in hindsight, I’d either done a whole day trip there, or, this trip was just a one venue trip as Positano wasn’t all that tbh. Just a beach and not a particularly nice one. The company we went with were very good, with excellent communication and very good staff.

Very enjoyable boat ride and easy way to see Almalfi and Positano if you you don’t want to spend more than 90 minutes at each stop. Enough time to grab a bite to eat and walk around to the overpriced shops. The majority of time spent is on the boat. Our host Andrea did his job well in terms of keeping us safe and bringing us from place to place. Do t expect to learn anything other than him pointing out the most expensive hotels on the Almafi coast. My 14 year old was bored and it took up an entire day. If I were to do it again, we would do the day trip via private boat to Capri (we did that too and it was great) and just take the ferry to Positano for the day and skip the town of Almalfi. Seeing the bus tours on those hilly windy streets, I would NOT recommend a driving tour unless you want to get sick.

We loved our day with Alfonso & Paulo. They were easy to work with and very patient with our family of 6. The tour was so much fun - the coast was gorgeous, the snacks and drinks were plentiful and we had a wonderful day touring the Sorrento coast, Almafi and Positano. Highly recommend!

Nice but not prompt

The boat ride was nice. However, it said 8am start time and we got a note the night before stating the tour wouldn’t start till 9:30. We didn’t get on the water until 11:00 because we had to wait for the whole group and whatnot. This was very disappointing. I wish we could have spent more time in the towns.

Seeing the beautiful cliffs, historical elegant architecture. Our group consisted of only 12, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Opportunities to swim in the warm Mediterranean. Appreciated pickup and return to a hotel near our Airbnb.

A Perfect Sorrento/Amalfi Cruise

The cruise from Sorrento to Amalfi and return was a wonderful way to begin our visit to Italy. With Raffaele driving the well maintained boat (and singing along with a song or two) and Luisa as a wonderful guide as we explored the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts in perfect weather, what could be better? Snacks included a sandwich of mozzarella and tomato, beverages, some tasty bites. Along with some wonderful swim s5ops and fresh water rinse-offs, what could make the day more perfect?

I gave this trip 3 stars as we did accomplish everything promised in the description, and the boat was nice quality. However, the trip was not managed particularly well. In reading other reviews, I think this comes down to the guide you get, so hopefully you get a different one than we did. Calling him a host, rather than a boat driver, was generous as he provided no information other than "now we are in Amalfi" or "that was a lighthouse." It would have been nice to know a bit more about what we were seeing, though perhaps this was a mistake to expect on my part. I was notified the night before that I'd be picked up an hour and half later than planned, not a huge deal because I was told I'd still be done by 18:30. Ultimately I was dropped off at 20:00, meaning I was not able to do something I had originally planned to do that evening, which was frustrating. Additionally, we spent the most time on land during the tour at a beach restaurant that our group didn't really want to visit, and tried to overcharge a member of our party. Fortunately she spoke Italian and was able to advocate directly for herself and get some of her money back. But that meant we got to spend only 30 minutes in Positano (and waited 15 minutes past the meetup time for the boat to get back), and only got to swim once. Overall, it felt like the guide was pushing us to go to the restaurant, at the expense of the other parts of the trip that were actually what was advertised. All in all, I wouldn't necessarily advise you against this company, but I would advise you to ask the boat driver to explain the day's plan and get agreement from the group early so there are no unfortunate surprises, and very late schedules, later on.

This was a great trip on a truly hot day in Sorrento. A bit overcast in the morning and sunny during the afternoon. Wonderful boat ride along the coast. ‘Chesca and Salvi were smiling and engaging. Just enough information, not overwhelming or droning on. We stopped to swim 2X. Water was beautiful. Relaxing day.

The tour was fantastic. The guides, Marco & Andrea were very welcoming and informative. We had plenty of time to explore Amalfi & Positano and the caprese sandwich supplied for lunch was an added bonus. My main worry when booking this tour was regarding social distancing, I had no need to be concerned, all transport to & from the port was well organised and not crowded at all. There was only one other couple on the boat tour and they sat at the back of the boat and we sat at the front, it felt very safe. Temperatures were checked and everyone wore masks when in fairly close proximity to one another. I really can’t thank the tour operator enough for what they managed to provide during an extremely difficult time for the travel industry. I wish them all the best and would encourage people not to hesitate bookIng this trip based on the wonderful service we received.
