Amazing time on vesuvius

We had a great time on vesuvius. The drive to the top was wonderful, didn't realise how green it was. It was much better going on a trip as only these tours go to the top car park. Our tour guide was really good and explained alot about the area on drive to the top The walk was about 20 minutes to top and steep, but stopped several times on way for rest and photos. Once up there you can walk around the top and the views are amazing.

Great opportunity to view a volcano

Only a 20 to 30 minute walk to the top. The path was good but loose stones under foot so no flip flops. There is a post box at the top too so postcards can be sent from Vesuvius!! The tour suggested it included the entrance fee to Vesuvius ours did but others in our group had to pay. Whilst there are toilets they are awful. An amazing experience to visit a volcano.
