Amazing Experience!!
LaDonna_J, Mar 2023
This was an amazing hike with spectacular views!! The tour guides were amazing. Loved the stop with Antonio for a small meal and wine. Even though our tour ended with a mountain rescue after my friend sprained her ankle we had a great time. The rescuers were amazing!!! Antonio and Giovanni stayed with us in the ER and translated four us. The owner Nino came to the hospital, stayed, and took us home. They were absolutely amazing!!!! This tour is an amazing experience!!
A highlight of our trip.

Our Guide was Nino and he was excellent. This hike was one of the highlights of the trip. There are very steep portions of the trail and the trail can be very narrow in places. I so enjoyed stopping at the hut for cheese and bread and meats. Take plenty of water with you and a sun hat.
Just simply the best.

The hike was fantastic. We had Nino as our guide. He was highly knowledgeable especially regarding local plants and agriculture. Every aspect of this tour was wonderful. The lunch at the shepherd’s hut is unforgettable.
Great experience on the path of the Gods

Our tour guide, Giovanni, was excellent. He gave us lots of information about history, the area, etc. I wish I would have known some of this the day before when we visited Naples! It made everything more meaningful. Good hike, a bit hot, but beautiful views. A nice snack included and we saw some mountain goats.
Great experience

An amazing hike with beautiful scenery. Guide was great and very informative. If you scared of heights, then you may struggle as my wife had a few moments of fear but the tour guide was excellent and made sure we were always together I would recommend taking water, around 1 liter each. Another recommendation is to wear long pants as you walk through shrubs and plants in some points
INCREDIBLE

Incredible!! Such a wonderful trip, my favourite tour of my month long trip in Italy! A lovely walk, challenging but still manageable, and such a knowledgeable guide showing us all the herbs that grow on the route and telling us all about The history of the area. HIGHLY recommend

Excellent outing . Great views and really informative guide . Only thing would have been to walk for longer ( but that's just me as a hillwalker back in Scotland ). Maybe too much for most in 37 degree heat this week

Our guide was great and the stop for food at a farm house was very cool. The food was delicious. My only criticism is that we didn’t get to do the entire hike to Positano - you go part way and then turn around so it’s about 4 miles. We also stopped very frequently so if you really want to be moving I wouldn’t necessarily suggest this hike. But the guide was great and we did learn a lot of interesting things. It’s also very worth it to have the bus transportation organized. If you choose to do this hike independently it can take 3 hours to get to the start of the trail by public transportation.
Brilliant!

Fabulous scenery. Nico knows both the history and ecology and has a fine sense of timing and humour to keep it interesting. I really appreciated his patience with this hot n sweaty 70 year old when I was flagging in the final 20 minutes.
Great walk

Easy transfer from Sorrento to start of walk. Lovely guide, fabulous views and lots of wild flowers and herbs to look at. Nice lunch at the shepherds hut for €5 per person, just right for the walk. There were a few sections on the walk that were very busy with other groups of walkers but overall it was acceptable. All in all a great day, not too difficult a hike even with a temperature of 28c.

We were going to do this on our own but changed our minds last minute As we only had one day left this was ideal as we were picked up and taken to walk and had a guide so every minute of the trip was stress free You could do this on your own but you would not get some interesting facts and perhaps would spend longer on walk in the very hot sun when a tour is just the right amount of time You do not need to be too fit but reasonable mobility and good trainers or walking boots a must the ground is rough in parts and you do walk up and down inclines We also had a delicious lunch at a shepherds cottage with wine and water A very welcome break before heading back
Tour is not as advertised

This tour begins in Bomerano and does not go to Nocelle, The end of The Path of the Gods. You begin in Bomerano on the high trail and 1/2 through go to the low trail. You see the same scenery twice. I booked this tour to have transportation to Bomerano and be picked up in Nocelle. I was very disappointed to not finish the trail and not see the town of Nocelle.
Response from Host, Jun 2022
We are very sorry who you hadn’t finished the tour at Nocelle, but our hike has always been an itinerary starting and returning to Bomerano. We walked the most beautiful and panoramic part of the path and we reached the last valley before Nocelle and changed the path to go to Casa del Pastore and return to Bomerano. Those who want to continue to Nocelle can leave the group and finish the itinerary alone in Nocelle.
BEST tour/hike in Sorrento!

If you have only one tour to do, make it this one! The information on the history of the area and the edible plants, whether medicinal or spice was incredible. The views were so gorgeous they were almost spiritual (hence the name of the hike lol). Every turn was more beautiful than the previous. Donkeys, goats, and a border collie along the way, for those animal lovers. Plenty of stops and shade to take in the beauty and wait for the group (15 in all), but not too many to be "slow". We were surprised by a homemade Italian lunch, water, and wine. Remember "2 glasses great, 3 glasses you see the Gods". LOL Bring plenty of water and good tread walking shoes. Sunscreen is a must!! FYI, there are some deep steps up and down in areas. I highly recommend THIS tour! You will not be sorry!
Loved it

The hike is absolutely stunning and the guide gave great history and details along the way. The views of Amalfi, Capri and Positano are amazing. We also enjoyed a nice lunch at the Shepherds Hut.

Absolutely fantastic. I contemplated doing the hike on my own but am glad I hooked up with this tour. Nico was fantastic. Kept a good pace and showed us interesting sites, herbs, etc along the way. He also treated us to surprise stop at a local farm for bread, tomatoes and goat cheese which was amazing. We'll worth it.

Path of the god hike
Ravi_K, May 2022
Beautiful views of hills, valleys and towns , local herbs like thyme, Oregano, garlic, wild flowers, goats and ponies. Great farm to table lunch with wine, goat cheese , tomatoes and bread. Trail should be rated intermediate to advanced. You have to climb 40 stories or so in this 7 km hike.

Absolutely beautiful. A sunny, lovely day with a wonderful lunch at a shepherd's cottage! I'm 56 and went with my 64 year old friend, we walk pretty regularly and this was a challenge but not too difficult although you will be going up and down lots of rocky steps. We wore tennis shoes and used a hiking pole that was provided for us. Bring a water bottle, there were several places to refill the bottle along the way. Nino does a great job of keeping a pace that is accommodating to everyone's needs and educating you on the local flora and history. I would rate this hike as moderate..just take your time and take in the beauty as you go!
