What To Expect

Meet your local guide in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, and set off on this walking tour of the city's oldest neighborhood. Wear sensible walking shoes suited for the cobblestone streets and bundle up; Stockholm's nights between November and March can be bitter. 

Walk down narrow alleyways and through tiny courtyards that most tourists and visitors never see. By the light of his lantern, your guide will entertain and horrify you with tales of poltergeists, plagues, public executions and murders. Experience the past brought back to life as you smell, taste and see what medieval Stockholm might have been like. 

Please note: This tour operates in all weather conditions, and parental discretion is advised for children under the age of 8.

The only thing we didn't like is that the tour is cheaper if you pay cash at the beginning (it's 220 SEK) and it's more expensive if you book it online (290 SEK).
My only advise, is , go directly to the tour, it is cheaper than buying online.

This ghost walk was very good. I was worried it may be too scary but it wasn’t. It was spooky but not too scary. Our tour guide Callum was very entertaining & had a great delivery. I would recommend doing this tour if your visiting.

Our fabulous guide was Callum and what a great story teller and entertainer he was. A great way to start your evening in Stockholm with this walk with stories in old town. Can not recommend this enough. We did this with teenagers also and they loved it too.

Callum, our Middle-aged Scottish guide with a dodgy knee ( His words) was funny throughout the walk. He encompassed all the 'guests' and kept us all amused. It was an easy walk despite the cobbled streets of Stockholm and we would happily recommend this 'Ghost' walk to anyone.

Too many people on the tour and nothing unique about it. I was on a similar ghost tour in Edinburgh a few years back and that was very good and included access to areas not public. But this walking tour in Stockholm really just went around the tourist areas in the old town.

So sad to hear that you thought our tour was Boring! Regarding access to areas not public, we have tried but we can not get permission to do that for our government. Sorry we could not satisfy you with that. Don´t now if you now Stockholm that good (specific the Old Town) but it is hard in that small island to go to some places that are not tourist areas. Sorry we could not satisfy you with that. We are the only tour that has access to an old crypt in the Old Town but you didn´t seem to like that. Sorry we could not satisfy with that either :-(
