Fun experience

A fun way to see the whole city. The guide took a lot of time at the beginning to make sure each person learned and was comfortable with the segway as we were all first timers. She navigated well through the paths and streets and i never felt rushed, left behind or unsafe. Was a great experience!

Great trip with much covered

Plan for a little over 2 hours. More like 2 and half with some introduction and practice on the Segway. We had a knowledgeable tour guide who showed us around the city and some interesting sights I was unaware of. I’m excited about all I’ve learned and recommend for most abled bodied individuals

Fun way- less historical

The guide is very knowledgeable and patient. We were on the English/German language tour and he seamlessly switched between English and German. One of the couples were not very good on the segways, mostly because they didn’t listen to or follow his instructions so we had to stop and do some extra training which frustrated the rest of the group, but the guide more than made up for it with his positive attitude. Would highly recommend this company and the tour.

we had a terrible experience with "One City Tours" at Strasbourg. we showed up at 10:15 for our 10:30 segway tour but the store was closed; although the door sign says they opens at 9:30. we called the phone on the door but it was just a French recording, we called Viator and finally talked to the owner, he said someone will come to open the store in 2 min. but it took 10. after an old lady opens the store, they just focus on moving the bikes out to the street and take care of other bike renters, so we had to stand there waiting again, it took them until 11:15 to finally get our segway ready to start the tour. the tour guide was also not professional, not only he has no idea there was a scheduled tour today, he didn't tell us his name, never asked our names, no introduction of any kind, he didn't know much history of the town...we asked when was the last time French took over the town from German? he said, maybe 17, 18 or 19 century...really? he kept texting and trying to light his cigarettes while we were riding the segway so we had to slow down, he even left us waiting at the street crossing for 5 min while he went back to the store because he forgot something! at the end of the tour, he wants us to take the segway into the store for him, no, it's your job to put the equipment away, not ours!! I took dozens of tours around the world, never have I seen such a shady outfitter, I would give it a zero if I could.

Great way to see the city. Amazing how you can use a Segway to navigate in and out of crowds and get around. Our guide was relatively new (and it was her first tour in English, and a bit hard to understand) but definitely knew how to get around and where to take us to see a good overview of the town. if you want to see a lot of ground i absolutely recommend this tour. If you are looking for in depth knowledge of the history of Strasbourg you should take a walking tour as well. but i highly recommend this tour and give it 5 stars for anyone looking for a great fun way to see the area. And they do a great job making sure everyone is safe and feels comfortable on a Segway.

Worst. Tour. Ever.

Our guide was not very knowledgeable of the sites she took us to visit. One comment…”that’s a statue of an important man, I do t know who it is, but they say he’s important.” We later went back and the statue had the name on the front…it was Albert Schweitzer. Pitiful. Worst. Tour. Ever. I’m giving two stars because she spoke English and it’s embarrassing to give anything lower. We have continued to have some great laughs about how awful it was.

Exciting way to see the city!

I had a wonderful time with my tour guide Mandy. She was very knowledgable and also great fun! I happened to be the only English speaking tourist on the tour so I was treated to a one on one experience which was nice for me as I was doing the tour alone. I didn’t feel out of place at all! Strasbourg is such a beautiful city and Segway is definitely the way to go. You can get around the city fast and I’m the city is built with lots of cycling lanes which make it pretty safe. I had never tried a Segway before! I’m 40 and got the hang of it fairly quickly so would definitely recommend for all age groups!

Segway tours are always fun and on this one we definitely did get to see almost all of Strasbourg in two hours. However, the guide did not seem to stop as often as we thought he would and we appeared to pass by things that might have merited a stop. He was very nice and accommodated our wishes but he did not seem exceedingly knowledgeable about Strasbourg.
