Nice boat ride

The boat ride was nice, it would have been great if the guide shared some history and information about Siracusa and the landmarks that we were seeing or the caves that he masterfully navigated. The snorkeling wasn't that great because there wasn't much sea life to observe. The fruit was a bowl of grapes and pears and one bottle of prosecco for the group.

Stephan the Captain was great. However, there was no snorkeling or swimming in the caves as the picture/description on the site described.

Thanks for your review, i am so surprised about this review as the tour is explained in details on Viator and all the other reviews are positive. you didn't write that you came by my office the night before and we talked for 20 minutes because you wanted explained the tour in details again plus i've explaned that it is a boat tour not a snorkeling tour + i've spent 10 minutes explaining what the snorkeling activity was going to be and that we provide only masks and not snorkels after the covid and you seems really agree with this, i am sorry you didn't enjoy it anyway, i have other activities in the catalogue just for snorkeling tour.

Although the boat ride was pleasant the trip was advertised to be for sea caves and snorkeling, the boat did not have enough masks for everyone on board ( maybe half the 18 people on board) and no snorkels! So really just a swim and cave ride. A little disappointing.

This specific tour is one of the most popular, which includes (as you have seen) a visit to the sea caves, the island of Ortigia and a swim stop. This tour has very positive reviews, however we apologise for the mishap that happened on that tour but it was just a small inattention on the part of the skipper, as we disinfect the masks on every tour and an error was made in the counting, only 3 were missing.
Regarding the snorkel, it is specified in the trip description that we only give goggles.
However, we hope you enjoyed the excursion and were able to enjoy the beauty of Syracuse.

We ended up being the only couple on the tour but Enzo was great showing us around the island and letting us swim even though it was a bit cold. Had a great time

Beautiful boat ride around the island and in some caves. We were given fruit and drinks. We stopped twice to jump in and swim. Great trip, super fun
