I do not recommend this challenging game for solo travelers. No team mates can be provided for you.
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Most hunters need to be able to walk for 2 hours. However if you have a less mobile team member, your host can make suggestions of where they can play from and interact with their team by smart phone.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I am really sorry this guest decided not to participate or do even one clue. It is true this is a non traditional scavenger hunt that involves creative challenges and being detectives on the hunt for stories.. it is harder in some ways than a regular scavenger hunt but its rewarding if you choose to play. You have the opportunity to engage with people instead of walking past them and bringing to life fascinating stories of the past. That said this scavenger hunt isnt for everyone and I recommend future guests do read the description and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Viator offers a 24 hour cancellation policy so you can even book to talk to me( your host) in advance and cancel for a full refund if its not for you. But don't let non participants turn you away.

Scavenger Hunt

This was a lot of fun and it was a beautiful fall day to wander around Taos. You contact the guide via phone, perfect for these COVID days and make sure you check in in advance so you have all your information and you are connected to What's App.. We left it to the last minute so this senior citizen was grateful that my daughter was familiar with all that. Your guide provides you with a list of clues and off you go. The activities are a nice mix of historical searches and things to draw you out of your comfort zone and engaging with a local or two. You report in to the tour guide and she provides extra information or clues if you are stuck. It was expensive though, compared to other tours. What would have made it perfect and more worth the money would be to have been given a video of the tour afterwards, as I would have liked to see some of the entries that we gave her all together plus the information she gave us along the way. But overall, a lovely way to spend a few hours in Taos.
