Really nice trip that took the hassle out of getting to Carcassone and organising tickets. You get plenty of time to explore the city on your own and at your own pace which was great. The meeting point was easy to find and well staffed.

Walking thru the castle...

Walking thru the castle and lunch at a lovely restaurant. I think the tour could give some historical information in written form. The tour was actually just a bus ride to Carcassonne and back. The bus driver did not communicate in any way. It was a pleasant experience .

Really nice trip that took the hassle out of getting to Carcassone and organising tickets. You get plenty of time to explore the city on your own and at your own pace which was great. The meeting point was easy to find and well staffed.
High handling charge

The tour itself was good, but I found that people who joined the same tour through different companies paid less. Our tour guide told me viator tends to charge a higher handling fee than others. I will book tours directly through bus companies next time.

When we booked this tour we were under the impression that it would be a guided tour. When we went to the representative office in Toulouse we were advised that there would be no guide, then the 2nd surprise was the price! The girl at the office said that the price of Euro 21 is for just the bus. When we showed her the receipt that we paid Euro 30 she said that there is nothing that can be done from her end!!! Very unhelpful and a disappointing experience from Viator. I booked this tour to have a guide otherwise we would have gone to Carcassone by train and it would have been cheaper! We received the same experience the following day as we had another tour booked to Albi and Cordes sur Ciel with Viator.

Maravilhosa cidade de Carcassone colocou-me a sonhar na minha amada História. Assim julguei-me uma simples habitante no século XVI com uma lojinha de docês para partilhar os meus segredos e saber as novas dos senhores do Castelo. Adorei!
