  • Butchart Gardens offers wheelchair hire for a fully refundable $10 deposit. If a passenger is in their own collapsible wheelchair, but not completely confined to it and are able to board the bus unassisted, the chair can be stored as luggage. If a passenger is confined to a wheelchair, please advise at time of booking and wheelchair access will be requested.

Solo Traveling no car rental good option

On time departure convenient way of transportation to and from the Butchart garden. Departs right in front of the Fairmont Empress Hotel in downtown Victoria. The city bus 75 also goes to Butchart garden and departs in front of the nearby Parliament building but there is no guarantee that you will get a seat as it is too crowded. If you are lucky to find a seat or else you have to stand for 40 minutes so I booked this bus at least a seat is guaranteed. Good for solo traveling if you don't want to drive or rent a car

Your description lead travelers to believe that the tour of the gardens was included in the ticket price, which, indeed it was not! And caused quite a difficult time getting into the gardens, and the times for the scheduled shuttle were horribly different than told we were expecting to leave by 9:30 when indeed, the shuttle bus left at 9 AM and needed to wait another hour for the next one. we then had to purchase garden tickets and pay an extra cost at the gate which we were not prepared to do. Very disappointed in the misleading, and will not be using your services again.

Great experience. Do note that this shuttle service does not include entrance fees to the garden. However you may our hase the garden entry ticket at the umbrella booths where you are supposed to assemble before departure. Try to go on the earlier bus as it gets warm in the mid afternoon and you probably may like to have some time to shop at the gift shop. I personally like this shuttle service as it provides some commentary about Victoria along the hour long ride. N the driver was friendly and has a sense of humour. These makes the use of this shuttle service a pleasant one.

I wish we could have taken this tour. It was spring in Victoria and everything was in bloom. We scheduled this tour thinking our cruise ship arrived early in the morning. We realized our error 23 3/4 hours before our tour began. I immediately notified both the tour operator and Viator. As of now, we have not had any resolution to our situation. It looks like we are out the cost of this tour as well as the experience. Luckily we had a great time wandering on our own from the ship. Victoria is a wonderful place to visit!

The bus driver/ guide was excellent. I didn’t know he would point out highlights and historical points of Victoria on the way to Gardens. He was extremely knowledgeable! Gardens we’re lovely and just the right amount of time allowed.

Unfortunately we were unable to complete our excursion to the Bouchard gardens are ship arrived late and then the border patrol or health department would not let us off on time so we were an hour and a half late getting off the ship so we missed our excursion altogether but we would certainly use you again you were always so helpful thank you so
