Evening at Boutchart Gardens

Marcus, our chauffeur from Island Tours was simply wonderful. He shared a lot of great information and history of the gardens. It really made the trip totally enjoyable and memorable. Would certainly recommend this experience .

The driver of the van who picked us up was new to the job this year, however it was like he was doing this for years. The best story teller we have ever had on a transportation on a tour. Very knowledgeable and friendly, clear with instructions and very passionate about Butchart Gardens and the family history. We got very lucky to have experienced him and his great stories. The bus picked us up st the hotel on time and delivered us to the front entrance of Butchart Gardens without incident. We picked our return time and the bus was there waiting for us. We were returned to our hotel without incident. Easy Peasy! An excellent choice if you just need transportation and don’t want a complete tour experience.

Prompt pick up at hotel- driver was very knowledgeable about history of gardens - gave us great info. We went when they opened & she suggested going straight to rose gardens to avoid crowds that would gather on those small paths later - gave us maps of gardens & best way to navigate. Return driver gave great tips of other things to see and restaurant recommendations!

A DELIGHTFUL GARDEN ADVENTURE

Butchart Gardens was quite the experience, more than I could have imagined. There were many surprises along the garden paths, such as a carousel, a fountain display, a boat ride, and the rose garden was spectacular. I would not use Viator to book your tour, as I was lied to about my hotel being the place of pick up, and when I contacted the tour company directly, I was told that they had not received any information that I had booked a tour. But I made it to the gardens and had a great time.
