What To Expect

After hotel pickup in Vancouver, travel north with your guide aboard a luxury coach toward Whistler. The route along Highway 99, the Sea-to-Sky corridor, offers plenty of gorgeous scenery that makes for a memorable journey.

Your route begins at sea level and tracks the shore along Howe Sound. Stop in Squamish and ride the Sea-to-Sky Gondola, a 90-minute aerial experience offering spectacular views of Howe Sound, coastal forests, and the Squamish River. At the Summit Lodge, 2,900 feet (885 meters) above sea level, relax and enjoy the views, perhaps with a beer or snack (own expense). Or, embark on one of the nearby trails, one of which includes a suspension bridge.

Your next stop along the Sea-to-Sky corridor is Brandywine Falls, situated between Garibaldi Heights and Whistler. Spend an hour here to watch the falls’ 230-foot (70-meter) drop, as well as Daisy Lake, from the large viewing platform.

Once you reach Whistler Village, enjoy four hours to explore this bustling village on your own. Choose from an array of activities and attractions, and feel free to ask your guide for recommendations. Your trip concludes with return transport to your original departure point.

Shannon Falls Provincial Park

Shannon Falls is composed of a series of cliffs, rising 335 metres above Highways 99, making it the third highest falls in the province, ranking behind 481 metre Della Falls in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island and 396 metre Hunlen Falls in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park near Bella Coola.

It was such an beautiful view and we enjoyed our time at the top. Whistler is a beautiful place, lots of things to do if you love to explore. The pre tour communication was amazing. We had a great tour! Mick was our driver/guide and was very knowledgeable. Our favorite part was the sea to sky gondola. It was such an amazing view and we enjoyed our time at the top. Whistler was fine, but the peak to peak gondola was not running that day (no fault of the tour) and we would have loved that. The pre tour communication was amazing. A picture of the exact location was provided and very helpful. I would highly recommend and would do another tour with them in the future.

The sea to sky gondola was amazing, gorgeous views and a brilliant experience. Our bus driver, Steve, was a great tour guide and made the journey both interesting and entertaining. The peak to peak gondola at whistler were closed which put a bit of a downer on that part of the trip, but whistler is a lovely place to explore and we were lucky enough to see a wild black bear! I would highly recommend this trip.

The Sea to Sky Gondola was the highlight for me, what a wonderful experience, not to be missed. Shannon Falls was beautiful. Whistler was a lovely visit, there’s activities but also plenty of spaces to have lunch or sit and watch. Even the drive to and from the driving stops was incredible.

Where to begin? Shannon Falls we’re stunning. The dappled sunlight at the viewpoints made it more magical. The trip on the Sea to Sky Gondola gave some incredible views over Howe Sound. At the summit I managed to do the Spirit Trail and the Panorama Trail and still had time left for a bite to eat. The summit views were just breathtaking. Four hours in Whistler is plenty of time to get more mountain time or do some shopping and visit the First Nation Cultural Centre. I chose the mountains. Need to leave a good two and a half hours for this adventure but you’d still have time for refreshments and a spot of shopping afterwards. Peter, our bus driver, was a font of knowledge giving us snippets of local history and facts as we went along. A brilliant day out.

Tour to Whistler BC

We were picked up close to where we were staying in downtown. It was 12 hour tour and we made a few stops before we headed to Whistler. We stopped at Shannon Falls, which was beautiful, then over to the Sea to Sky tram. The weather was very foggy so our views weren’t great, but we walked the trails and saw so much beauty. Then we headed to Whistler. We had a wonderful lunch at an Irish pub, visited the Olympic park, went to a museum and did some shopping. I highly recommend this tour
