**Late guests may not be accommodated to participate on the tour and will not be refunded.** Please be ready for pick up from hotels start at 45 minutes prior to tour departure time. If you are meeting at our 999 Canada Place location, meet us at 30 minutes prior to tour departure time. Luggage transfer to hotel is not available. We do not drop off at Vancouver International Airport. Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing will pick up from select downtown Vancouver hotels. Please provide the hotel information at the time of booking. Guests must contact Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing by 5 pm the night prior to departure to confirm pick up location and time.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Be aware that there is no time allocated to lunch, you will need to use either your time at the garden or at Victoria to do that.
If you only have 1 day to spend, Id recommend this tour over driving and figuring out everything on your own, as you wont be able to be as efficient, carefree, and see as much in 14 hours.

Dave Rogers was a fantastic guide! So friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, he took great care of us! Van was comfortable. I would recommend increasing the time at Butchardt Gardens from 1.5 hours to 2 hours.

Very nice day. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning, proceeded to the ferry and Butchart gardens then to Victoria. Short visit but we will definitely be back to visit the Island on our own. Our guide, Herman, was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Butchart gardens were beautiful. Tour guide Dave Rogers was entertaining. The ferry rides to and from the island were comfortable and had good food service. Enjoyed walking around Victoria and going into the Empress Hotel.

My best friend and I had a wonderful time on our tour to Butchart Gardens and Victoria. Our guide, Alex, was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire day! He made the entire experience so memorable. Butchart Gardens is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, and downtown Victoria is lovely too. If you are lucky enough to have Alex as your guide, you will have a fantastic experience!

Trip did not start out well… apparently there was a schedule change which resulted in a pick up time one hour later than expected. No input or apology from the company. I would have expected at least an apology and, hopefully, a small refund for getting up much earlier than needed. NOTHING. The time at the Gardens and Victoria was as expected and sufficient. The guide, Vinnie, unfortunately was a bit like the Energizer Bunny and never stopped talking for the 12 hours of the tour. He loved flirting with the older women but was sadly deficient on the tour details. His knowledge of the Butchart Gardens did not match my own and I needed to enlighten my wife with the correct details. He was not evil just too much to take for the time period allowed.

Driver was extremely knowledgeable, but very rude! He called out people that he was waiting for if they were a minute or two late, even though we were waiting to actually go onto the ferry and had 45 minutes to spare. We were supposed to be picked up at 8:30 he drove by us and came back 20 minutes earlier with no explanation whatsoever he didn’t like if you asked him Questions. Much of his conversation consisted of complaining about Canada’s taxes, how the taxes were spent on road improvements for bike lanes Parklets, etc. hindered him from getting to places quickly. It was so very upset that two passengers needed to be dropped off in a different Hotel from their original pick up. He didn’t want to see their paper explain the change and drop off times due to the Vancouver marathon. He said, “I didn’t make that change, did I? I don’t need to see that paper!“

I was told p/u is at 8, when it's really at 9, and now I'm the bad guy???

Honestly, it went pretty horribly. They told to be ready for pick up @8am, but the actual p/u was at 9! The rep that I talked to was VERY rude and made me feel stupid for being there on time that they've told me. Then I met the guide who is taking us to Vancouver Island, who doesn't seem to be happy about seeing me. This was reinforced by the fact that they almost left me at the ferry terminal. The rest of the trip was pretty unremarkable. I would give it 0 stars if I could. There are plenty of other companies and other trips, and I highly do NOT recommend this one.

This was for me the best way to go to Victoria in a day. We had 2 seniors in our group, so other way was difficult to go. But, the time spended in Victoria was to short. We can’t see too much of Victoria in just 1:50 hr. I would like more of Victoria. The Bucharts garden was good and preatty

Ed was an excellent driver and guide! Gardens were gorgeous, two hours was perfect timing to see the entire grounds. We would have liked a little more guidance in Victoria itself such as a guided tour. Ed gave us several suggestions. We opted for a self guided tour of the Legislative assembly and had a great diner at the Flying otter followed by a stroll along the shops of Government street. A day in Victoria well spent!
