Traveler Tips

Still a decent deal, but, just be aware that skip the line is not a component of this pass, nor is access to the Gardens at the palace of Versailles.

Scam alert!!!
Anonymous, Sep 2022
The tour operator never responded to any of my questions. The ticket office (all of them actually) was closed even though signs said they were open. The phone number for them was invalid. Googling them turned up zero helpful results.Calling Viator was no help. I told them I've been trying to contact the vendor for several days with no response. Viator said that because it was less than 24 hours before my ticket started, there was nothing they would do about it. I explained that I thought the tour operstornwas fraudulent, and they "put in a request to the operator for a refund for me." Absolute BS. I've contacted my bank to investigate and get my money back. Do not book these tickets through here. They're also WAY cheaper (at least 20 euro) if you buy them locally.
Let the buyer beware!

Terrible experience. Before purchasing, I was told the pass would be emailed to me. Instead I received a voucher, which I was supposed to take to the airport to exchange for the pass! This was impossible given time, distance and added cost of going to the airport. Very disappointed. I am still awaiting a refund.
Great deal!

Definitely the best deal! Just wish I had found out about it before I purchased individual tickets for the Eiffel tower and Arc de triumph. Still got my money's worth though, with the Louvre, Versailles, and many more!
Going on top of the Arch de Triomphe, the VIEW IS AWESOME.

We (my wife & I) bought this pass with some uneasiness as we were not sure it was legit. WELL! I will tell you to buy with confidence. We were able to schedule our Louvre visit at the pickup site and was able to skip the ticket line everywhere we went. we used it in several different locations: Saint Chappelle, Arc de Triomphe, hotel des invalides, musee d'armee, Palace at Versailles, Conciergerie, musee bordin. It was accepted and paid for itself. As we probably would not have paid the extra euros to see all of those site.
Convenient

Wasn’t able to get into Lovre - it’s website wasn’t accessible to make an advance appointment. However, we’re able to enjoy other museums and sites covered by the pass.
Disappointed

I am terribly disappointed with the Paris {and London} Pass. The promises that it makes for skip the line and access to the best spots in the city are pretty fictitious and did not give us the experience we were hoping for. Here is the lowdown: If you plan on going to like 15-20 exhibits while you're there, it's worth it for the payment ease alone. Just scan your card and voila...you're in. That doesn't take into account that you have to sit on hour to two hour lines for most exhibits. The "skip the line" detail is pretty much a lie for 80% of the places we went. We spent more time waiting on lines to enter than anything else. If you're doing it for that convenience, it's not worth it. The other thing that upset me about this was the most major exhibits we wanted to go to were not even included on the pass. Want to go to the Eiffel Tower? Good luck. They don't accept Paris Pass and more than that, the lines will hold you up there all day. We were pretty disappointed with our experience, especially because they sent the pass to a different airport, which Viator {the company I purchased the tickets from} rectified and fixed for us. I wish the pass was electronic as it was inconvenient to use a handheld pass. We weren't as satisfied with both the Paris and London Pass, as it did not offer what we expected, didn't allow us to skip lines, and was decently inconvenient. I wish this was not the case but regardless, we had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the city of Paris. We hope you have a great trip, too -- what ever you decide to do.
Wasn't everything we expected

First off, this pass was a good deal in that we did gain access into every museum we went to, HOWEVER... We were not granted skip the line access at any museum. we tried, and were told it was just an access pass. While we were able to get into the Palace of Versailles (after a pretty long wait), we were NOT granted access to the gardens. It was 40 additional Euros to get into that part of the palace. Still a decent deal, but, just be aware that skip the line is not a component of this pass, nor is access to the Gardens at the palace of Versailles.

the pass got me in with no problems and cut through the lines. A good investment, just plan realistically how many museums you will be seeing. Was useful at Versailles to see the smaller homes of the king and Maria Antoinette and the grand canal located further away from the chateau. Cz of the distance I bought the mini tram ride ticket for 8euros but once I got there my pass just whisked me in while others were paying for entrance.

Be sure you will be seeing several museums or need the quick entrance. We went in November and I think we at least broke even. I do recommend this.

I definitely recommend the Museum Pass, it worth every spent. The lines to buy tickets are ridiculous, specially considering that you also have to make mandatory security checkup lines We visit many museums and save valuable time and we did not stand under heat or rain.

This pass was WORTH every penny! Not only did we hit every major Museum Louvre, D'Orsay, Rhodan, L'Orangerie but we also saw a lot of the churches and the Arc de Triomphe with this pass. It paid for itself and then some! Great bargain... highly recommend if you are going to pack in a lot of things in a few days!

I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Paris to get the Museum Pass. This saved us hours in waiting in lines to go to many museums. Plus, when I changed my pick up point from Galleries Lafayette to the airport in CDG. Viator was most accommodating about this. I purchased 4 consecutive days and this was the best thing I did for our stay in Paris. So much better than waiting in ling lines for the museums! Totally recommend this!

I completely recommend buying a Paris Museum Pass. It gets you into to almost everywhere you could want for a great price. Most places that you can use it you will get to shortcut the lines we didn't wait in line to get in almost anywhere. I highly recommend this pass it is a great value.
