Traveled to Poland with my sisters and we selected this tour - accommodations were exactly as described. Would highly recommend for anyone considering this tour. Be warned - there is a fair amount of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

The tour was very well organised for the early morning pick up. We were met at every pick up point and the whole experience was very well put together. Equal amounts of guided time and free time to explore.

Hotel pickup was right on time and the driver escorted us into the train station and connected us with a tour rep who gave us a map of Krakow, tickets, and detailed instructions. Krakow was BEAUTIFUL and we had just enough time to visit some beautiful churches and the castle and grab a quick lunch before meeting the shuttle to Auschwitz. Even though it was quite crowded there, the tour coordinators were able to navigate us through the crowds and the visit was very smooth. The guide was very informative and the entire experience was very moving and impactful. The only negative was that there were four people on our shuttle who were travelling with a different guide and they were brought back almost an hour late, resulting in the shuttle leaving late. We got back to Krakow three minutes before our train back to Warsaw left, so we had to go thirteen hours between lunch and dinner!

Right from pick up in Warsaw to train tranfer and during the visit inside Auschtwiz I and II… everything was well planned. The coordination was excellent. Agnieszka communicated all details, the drivers were also pleasant and on time, guide Peter and Marta presented and explained the history very well. It does require moderate amount of walking so be prepared. Only suggestion is that we were a group of 3 so would have been good to sit together in the train (3 hours each way). Definitely recommended if one has short time in Poland.

Great Experience, but Logistics Could Improve

The Good: 1. The Auschwitz tour and guide were excellent .. a very powerful and worthwhile experience. 2. Agnieszka and the others who supported this tour were always very friendly. 3. Pick up, transport and drop off in Warsaw were on time and easy. Logistical Issues: 1. The posted tour description makes you believe you will head directly to the Auschwitz tour once you arrive to Krakow, giving you a nice amount of time when things are open in Krakow. In actuality, you don't know what time you depart for the tour until you arrive in Krakow at 8:30am. Ours left at 11am, and another group left at noon, creating a split time in Krakow when many shops aren't open, and tight for dinner before the train journey back to Warsaw. I tried asking about these specifics a few times from Agnieszka a few days before our tour date, but never received a response. 2. Our Auschwitz tour left Krakow about 25 min late due to the local coordinator being late to our meet point, giving us less time in Krakow. 3. We were told the overall tour time (when we leave and return to Krakow) would be 7 hours, but it was closer to 7 hours, 45 minutes, again eating into our Krakow time. Krakow is a very beautiful city, and overall, it would have been better having a longer and uninterrupted period of time to visit. I tell you this to help set expectations, as the overall experience was still excellent, but could be better coordinated and communicated.

Bus with No Air conditioning during a heatwave 30+ degrees

The guides and drivers gave us a good day, unfortunately on our way back from Aushwitz to Krakov, the bus had no air conditioning and it was a very bad experience having to travel in a full bus with no windows for more than 1 hour, we ended up soaking in sweat! I suggest that you check your busses prior to departure when you knew it will be a heatwave in Europe!

Transportation issue

The experience itself was priceless, and a review doesn't do it justice. We received the itinerary 7 hours before pick up, there was no driver to take us to the train in Krakow. The lady was very helpful in assisting us when we missed the train back to warsaw.

Memorable day in Krakow and Auschwitz / Birkenau

It was a long day but the logistics were seamless. The time in Krakow was very brief but the driver let us out near the most desired attractions. I would have preferred a guide, but we were able to figure it out and go at our own (fast) pace. Auschwitz and Birkenau were very sobering reminders of a dark past, but our guides did a great job presenting the information on the tour at both locations. Be prepared for lots of walking.

This trip was an absolute blast!! We had a balanced experience being able to see both Krakow, Auschwitz and Warsaw all in 1 weekend!!! The customer service was super helpful in answering any questions I had and was super patient. I had a party of 8 and we were able to arrange a private vehicle to transport us in between. Maciej was our driver and is a super fun, respectful and friendly person to be around, and honestly was an additional great experience to our group. Any questions or concerns we had , he always had an answer and was great at giving good places to visit across Poland. If you ever get the chance to take this trip go for it. You will not be disappointed !

Auschwitz and Krakow

We had a great experience, from the communication from Agnieszka who suggested the fast train in the morning (which allowed us to sleep in longer and enjoy a shorter ride to Krakow). Our driver from the hotel, Mark was very courteous and made some good suggestions for visiting Krakow before returning to Warsaw. The visit to Auschwitz was very somber and educational. The tour guide was very good about explaining the German atrocities and inhumanity inflicted on so many. The visit firmly entrenched with us the evil that can be inflicted by authoritarian regimes. The visit to Krakow was great and helped show the beauty of the Polish people and their resolve.

This was a great tour. It is long so be prepared for 19 to 20 hours , pick up to drop off. Great service. You transfer from small group service to large group service at Krakow. Taking a tour bus to the 2 camps. Great tour guide and was always trying to help us understand the history. Upon arrival back at Krakow you get free time to shop. We were given directions to the train station and they were good enough to get there. A little more care could be taken to explain finding the departure platform for your train back to Warsaw. Five stars for a great experience. Only take care and be aware of getting yourselves back to the train station.
