Entertaining guide with a clear passion for the topics and control over the group. I found the non-governmental stories more entertaining than the Whitehorse / past presidents discussion but it was nice to be able to walk easily between the points.

The tour guide took us around Washington D.C. where he told us abouts events that occurred at each location causing hauntings. We were able to use a detector to see if spirits were nearby. If the lights flashed red, something was nearby. The tour was informative and fun. I would recommend this to anyone but it does involve a lot of walking.

Loved this tour! I would highly recommend it for some extra fun and unique history around DC. Doug was animated, knowledgeable, and he spoke loudly & clearly. He was also a speedy walker but always waited for us slow pokes; the perfect walking tour guide. My nephew (8yrs old) came with us so I opted for the EMF reader add on and he was fully engaged and loved every moment of the tour.

The guide's delivery was good, but there were only a few stops on the tour. I paid for a 90 minute tour, and it was only 60 minutes. Also, some of the historical facts given were wrong- I'm a history buff, so I know my stuff.

Our tour guide was self-promoting for his acting and voice work, talking about his depression, had a dog with him who was said to be a service animal but no vest and didn’t really behave as such, and the guide didn’t give us confidence that he knew the material very well. It was not the experience I hoped to have and not up to the usual Viator standards.
