Lovely people and nature

Our guide and driver made our experience fantastic! Born in Curacao, they taught us about music, culture, and history on the bus between our wildlife excursions. The turtle swimming was great, though a bit crowded. I would recommend the morning. The salt flat walk to see the flamingos honestly felt more special. It was gorgeous and quiet, very unique. We loved our experience!

One SHELL of an Experience!

It was very special to have two amazing tour guides all to ourselves for the duration of the experience. They were so kind, so experienced, and genuinely got to know us during the 40 minute drive. They were also very honest with us and let us know what to expect when we got there - he honestly told us that it is where a lot of fishermen work and gut and scale their fish for sale and therefore it would smell like fish, he was right; he told us that we would be experiencing a fisherman there who spoke to the turtles but would yell at guests who would try to touch the turtles, but that he has a good heart and doesn't know how to communicate with people in a calm manner but he's harmless, again he was right; he told us that the fishermen there would allow pictures but the respectful thing to do before taking the pictures would be to ask them, again he was right. The experience was wonderful and the water was so clear. We expected there to be a lot more turtles, but the turtles that we did see definitely swam right near us and were unafraid. It was a magical experience. The only thing that was a little "off" about the experience was that there was no real guidance on how to snorkel or where the best place to enter and see things would be. We kind of just were given the supplies and were told "okay go for it." NOT a bad thing, but something to be aware of if you have never snorkeled before. The guides also told us that we could safely leave our stuff on the bus instead of paying for a locker. We definitely felt the safety in that and took them up on their offer. It was definitely safe to do this! We went and drove by the flamingos but it was a downpour rain when we finally got around that part of the island (yes, different parts of the island could be pouring while others are bone dry). They explained that they would normally take us out to see the flamingos but wouldn't be able to with the way the weather was. Still a nice view! All in all, we were very happy with this experience and would recommend it to ANYONE who is on the island!

We had a great time. The bus ride is about 40 minutes, but the guide was knowledgeable and provided some sightseeing along the way. I wish there had not been so many people at the snorkel location. A local guy was there feeding the turtles and they are trained to come to that area. We were able to get out away from all the people and enjoyed it. We did see several turtles❤️

Nani and Glenn were great guides, we got on a nice air conditioned bus which took us to the location where we swam with the turtles we stayed for an hour and then they took us to see the Flamingos which was great. They had snorkel gear and gave us water on the trip. I highly recommend this tour if you have 3-4 hours.

Amazing guide, a local to Curaçao, so he was very knowledgeable about the history of the island, and had his own experiences with locations and wildlife stories. He was also very knowledgeable of the animals we were interacting with. Experiencing the turtles so close was a one in a lifetime opportunity. Overall it was an unforgettable day!

The tour guides made me feel very comfortable and they were extremely personable. Highly recommend! The transportation is a really convenient aspect to the tour. The only downside we’re the flamingoes we’re far away and we were unable to get close to them but that wasn’t the tour guide’s fault it’s just because of where they were.

Turtle snorkeling in Curacao

There were a bunch of turtles and all were used to people. They swam all around us. There were way too many people all snorkeling in a very small area pushing us and my kids around to get closer and take pictures of the turtles. The tour also stated it was 4 hours but we were back in 3. It would have been a 5 star if they controlled the amount of people in at a time and used that extra hour to relax on the beach when we were done.

Such a great experience! It was more affordable than other companies, but just as good a time. There’s a man who helped you get turtles to float on your belly if you wanted. On the trip there and back, Rudy was hilarious but also gave us some really great information about Curaçao. Défini worth the money!

What an amazing experience. I would recommend bringing your own googles if you have them (there are fine but if you want a tight fit and don't want to use a borrowed snorkel, you will want your own). There's a guy that will get the turtles to go right in your belly for $5...he is super nice and helps the overall experience!

Rosalie was very knowledgeable about the area. She was very friendly and engaged the whole group. Turtles were plentiful, unfortunately so were all the people. Crowded area and lots of steps to get to the beach. Chairs were in limited supply
