Board the ghost bus – a classic Routemaster bus with its own questionable history – grab a seat in the shadowy upper or lower deck, and peer out the window as you wind through the dark, narrow streets.

You’ll pass infamous landmarks like Clifford’s Tower, York Minster and Dick Turpin's grave, and stop occasionally to get better acquainted with ghostly venues. By the end, you’ll have an intimate understanding of York’s sinister side, touted as one of the spookiest cities in the world!

Your tour returns to the departure point with time to warm your chilled soul at a local pub.

Bus was very funny, a really good way to see the city and it’s history. Was fun scary and told some great stories. Driver and narrator were very good and very entertaining. 100% recommend !

The tour was such good fun from start to finish. Phil the tour guide was really funny and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Bob the driver was also great and added to the experience. I would definitely recommend the tour.

This tour bus was amazing! We had such a good time. Phil made us laugh from start to finish and bob is a great driver. Wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked but would definitely do it again. Learned so much about York. 10/10

The guy on the bud telling the ghost stories very good and bus driver in time wit the braking etc but I do think that it would be better if the guy telling the ghost stories was dressed in appropriate attire not just normal clothes and a Santa hat so as to make the experience more “ real”
